I saw Wotter and Zero talk about this in the previous strip, so I decided to show my spriting method. If you have questions or comments, feel free to speak... or type I should say.

my biggest problem of all is probally shading, which is why I work primarily with 8-bit sprites right now. I have tried shading in the past, but it just never looks right.

anywho, Off topic: I need some help with an 8-bit sprite sheet. I want to expand it so I have more poses to use, but have been unsuccesful so far.

thats the sheet. Its Forte from Rockman Famicon 7 fangame. I would greatly appreciate anyone who could assist in expanding this sheet.

That's why if you mess with it for a bit, you might get the right shade. (Tip: If you go to windows paint, edit colors and try draging the whatever color you pick to the lightest you want, then slowly start dragging down until you find a shade/color you like. Trust me, it'll work! ^_^)

@Kuragari: theres an expanded sheet on the megaman fan game network.
@sagat: good tutorial man, but you might wanna go more in depth like how to come up with ideas.

@Pingas: Too late for depth in ideas part, but I'm sure someone will understand once they do their own sprite.

Oh yeah, that's right! I forgot about those two.

Reply Pat-Man12, September 21st, 2010, 12:26 am gave me credit as a good spriter...IM SO HAPPEH!
