Credit to all the authors listed for the sprites. We do 8 bit, 16, bit and 32 bit sprites (mostly 8 bit) and Sonic sprites. WE TAKE REQUESTS. no trolling, flaming, cussing (some allowed) and ABSOLUTELY NO STEALING SPRITES AND DON'T CLAIM ANY AS YOUR OWN, unless you actually made them and your part of this showcase. *One new rule: I would like to address the fact that THIS IS NO LONGER A SHOWCASE WHERE WE POST RESOURCE SPRITES OR SPRITES WE DIDN'T MAKE! I'm gonna remove the sheets that aren't ours soon. any body else that posts anything that isn't theirs will be punished, if caught, with the following: 1st offense: a warning. 2nd offense: comment privilege taken away. 3rd offense: uploading privilege taken away Anything past the third offense will result in removal from this comic.

So yeah, this was my contest entry that didn't get done in time, which also doubles as an enemy idea for my FanRM Zap Woman.

Spark Joe teleports as soon as he is on screen. He shows up behind Megaman, now with a blue color palette. He waits about half a second, then quickly changes to his buster and fires off a shot. After wards, he switches instantly to his shield, blocking any shots from the player. After that, he puts his shield away and teleports, any shots that hit him during the teleport animation are deflected.

The way to defeat him would be to shoot him in the time after he teleports and while he shoots, which is tricky due to his teleporting, as he doesn't always teleport to the side opposite of himself, and can show the teleporting animation only to appear in the exact same spot.

The point was to try and live up to the difficulty that the old NES titles offered, while incorporating new concepts, still keeping SniperJoe's cheap shield tactic that makes them so iconic and takes so long to defeat.

I agree, and you might want to fix his arm. Shame Capcom didn't think of this one for Plug Man's stage.

Yeah, ever since the whole Megaman Legends 3 incident... The first Megaman game I had ever played was the Megaman legend series... well, Megaman 64, due to it being on the N64 for me.... Freaking Capcom.

Well, I wasn't really going to fix anything, considering this was for the contest and all.

But I'll keep all this C+C in mind for when I make a 16-bit version.

EDIT: Everyone hates Capcom because Capcom apparently hates Megaman now. Or something like that.

To be honest, I kind hope they just canceled the games so they could get started on new Megaman games, considering the creator left, he might have wanted to take his contributions with him, thus crippling the current Megaman projects. Maybe this just means Capcom is working on a Megaman game that doesn't have any traces of Keiji Inafune in them.

But then Capcom start making X9, and everybody will love them again.

Then they'll cancel it.
